How much does real estate school cost in NC?

Tuition for the mandatory 75-hour Pre-Licensing course typically ranges from $500 to $600, depending on the format and materials included. Additional costs include textbook fees, the NCREC application fee, and the examination fee. The Fayetteville Real Estate School includes all of the materials needed to take the Pre-Licensing course.

Can I take NC Pre-Licensing on ZOOM?

Yes, synchronous online courses via Zoom are fully approved by the NCREC. This format allows you to complete your education from the comfort of your home while interacting live with our experienced instructors.

Is Fayetteville Real Estate School an approved NCREC Education Provider?

Absolutely. We are a fully accredited North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC) Education Provider, ensuring our curriculum meets all state regulatory requirements for licensing.

Do I need a college degree to become a real estate broker in NC?

No, a college degree is not required. To qualify, you must be at least 18 years old, a United States citizen or qualified alien, and possess a valid Social Security number.

What happens after I pass the NC Licensing exam?

Upon passing, you will be issued a Provisional Broker license. To activate it, you must affiliate with a Broker-in-Charge (BIC). You will then have 18 months to complete 90 hours of Post-Licensing education to remove the provisional status.

What is the difference between Pre-licensing, post licensing and CE?

Pre-licensing (75 hours) is the foundational course required to take the state exam. Post-licensing (90 hours) is required within your first 18 months to become a full, unrestricted broker. Continuing Education (CE) requires 8 hours annually to maintain an active license.

Can military spouses take real estate classes online in North Carolina?
